13th-15th November ‘26
Murwillumbah After Dark takes over the town for its first weekend.
Join us for film premieres, live music, trivia, local hospitality, a costume party and late night shopping.
THE NIGHT IS YOURS
Maybe it starts with spoken word in the Courthouse courtyard, then trivia at the Imperial.
Maybe you're watching Friday the 13th at the Regent, on an actual Friday the 13th.
Maybe it's Storm Boy on Saturday morning, free, fifty years after it first screened.
Maybe you went in for Sheep in a Box before lunch and didn't leave the Regent until Jim Queen.
Maybe it's Fanny Lumsden at M|Arts, if you got a ticket in time.
Or maybe it's Sunday, Footrot Flats with the kids, then Club Halifax for free at M|Arts.

WHILE YOU’RE HERE
EXPLORE THE TOWN
Murwillumbah sits on Bundjalung Country, where the Tweed River bends around a main street of art deco shopfronts and laneway murals.
Wollumbin stands watch over the valley with a rainforest older than most countries.
It's a town that grew up on banana farms and never lost the habit of making its own fun; markets, gallery openings, murals down every second laneway, and coffee that's actually good.
Arts
M|Arts has an abundance of artist studios ready to explore. Tweed Regional Gallery and the Margaret Olley Art Centre are a short drive away. Murals line laneways throughout the CBD.
Food
Two-hatted fine dining, a solid pub meal, locally made pasta and pizza, a Japanese or fresh produce every Wednesday at the Farmers Markets. There’s no denying Murwillumbah is passionate about good food.
Nightlife
Live music at The Citadel, The Regent and M|Arts, comedy shows, trivia and various events running across three different pubs, and usually something else on somewhere in town.
